Earlier yesterday I got 40 dollars from james. As always, I didn't want to take it. No means no, right? Apparently not because he still forced it onto me. Anyway, add it to the 20 that layton gave me a week or so ago, and I now have 60. This actually got me to thinking that maybe... just maybe... I would be able to get somewhat closer to either completing rozen maiden or when they cry. How awesome would that be? And it's been so long since I've had the pleasure of being able to buy any dvd's. Yeah... that would be fucking sweet...

And then we fast forward into later in the day when layton comes home from work.

L-"You got mail."
S-"Really? That's weird."
L-"Yeah, I don't get it, but it sounds painful."

I am completely and utterly confused by this and he hands me a postcard.

Bordetell... oh.

It was a postcard from McMonigle telling me that leon is due for his his bordetella intra-nasal next month. Add that to him also being out of his flea-stuffs and... well, I know where that 60 is going and it's not towards anime. *sigh* I'm not happy, but I am also not surprised. Whenever I happen to get a little tiny bit of extra money in my pocket it all gets sucked out by those wonderful unexpected bills. I haven't had money since I got leon. :) Especially not since he swallowed that needle. Ha! It's like having kids.

So while I care, and care a lot, at the same time I don't. Leon keeps me broke, but he also keeps me happy. 10 times happier than buying any anime series could. So really, I have no room to complain. And I don't.

It just gets frustrating sometimes, that effort to keep up.

Also, layton informed me that hours have been cut to 32.5. The way things are going with simpson, I'm highly doubtful that they will be keeping the plant up here open. That is no good because that means that layton will lose his job. Very much worry-some. And this all has to come when we're all being forced into unwanted change.

*hugs* It's true, there is no point in having any money since it all dissapears almost instantly anyway. Thank you. :) You're always so nice.

cool I hadn't heard about those animes, I'll have to watch them once I'm done with the one I'm currently watching.

Oh, and a dog is worth it, no matter how much money they cost. My chihuahua went blind a few years back, and we spend a lot of money on 3 different kinds of eye drops that she has to take 7 times a day just to keep her eyes from getting too irritated. Any amount of money is worth the amount of joy and love she's added to our family, though.

Always glad to share new stuff. :) They're both pretty good imho. When They Cry is also known as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, if you prefer your stuff in japanese. It's become one of my favorites.

And yes, he is more than worth his weight in gold. I don't know where I would be without him with me. He's helped me so much with my social anxieties and getting out there in the world, even to do little stupid things like go to the grocery store. I wouldn't give him up for the world no matter what happens.

Post more pics of him! I love that excited look on his face as he's running with the toy, or dead animal, or whatever it is he's carrying. It's the way my chihuahua used to look when she played fetch back when she could still see.
