Plans got all switched around. Roz called and we ended up going to seattle friday and the movie saturday. It was alright. I'm personally more of a fan of the subtle horror versus the all out blood and guts stuff.

Went to the goodwill. Found a skirt that if I want to wear out and about, and actually walk in, I'm going to have to find someone to adjust the length. It has a bit of a train to it. Found a vhs of betty boop there too. Awesomeness. I love the old cartoons. They're so much better made than most of the stuff now IMO, and betty boop is just awesome. Layton finally got around to taking me out to lucky city yesterday too like he said he would for my birthday oh so many months ago. Woohoo. Can't hold it over his head anymore. We were the only people there. I guess everyone just gets take-out and uses the bar. There were lots of people in the bar. Kept singing happy birthday over and over again to someone(s). It was nice to be able to go out and eat with layton at a nice place. I don't think I've ever really done that before.

I want to go books shopping. Don't have much fundage though, so that makes it kinda hard to do. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to be entertained by what I have.... goddammit. Forgot that I wanted to go to the supermall, to the closing bookstore up there, and buy the complete works of poe. 7 dollars man, can't beat that. Well, free would beat it but I know I won't ever find it for that.

My mom got animal crossing for herself on friday. Wanted to surprise me with it, so she could play it with me, and it was a surprise indeed. :) I didn't really get the chance to do much on it with her since roz called and wanted to go to seattle. I'll have to bring that up with her later.

Blah blah blah. Fucking brainless blah.

You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.
Normal: Tell our geek we need him to work this weekend.

You [to Geek]: We need more than that, Scotty. You'll have to stay until you can squeeze more outta them engines!

Geek [to You]: I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain, but we need more dilithium crystals!

You [to Normal]: He wants to know if he gets overtime.
