Uh huh, and blahblahblah.

The venting was good. I was able to get lots of good sleep after I did that. Like my mom in that respect. Once it's out, everything is good (hopefully anyway).

Yeah, so other than the weirdness, yesterday night was pretty nice. Got to hang out with christina, which is always great, and got to meet some of her friends. I hadn't eaten more than some fries I got from mcdonalds so the first drink I got, that she bought cuz she's so nice, so I was able to get a pretty good buzz and maintain it for the night. Some dude yelled at layton for 'putting crap on his bike.' When I heard him yelling that I went from being all nice and buzzed happy to seeing red and I kinda screamed at him. Just a little though, cuz layton didn't do anything. Fuckers bike was stupid looking anyway. He had tape on it that said not to sit on it or he would kill that person. Then I went back to drunk-happy again after it was done. Yeah. It was great. :) I lurve christina so much. Don't know how anyone could do otherwise.

Oh yeah, yesterday was my first time at a bar too. Inside the showbox is really nice. Got all the drinks in there from the tiny bar. The drinks are so expensive! It's easier than going out and buying all the stuff to make it yourself though I suppose. The guy who was checking id's, on my third time up I felt kinda weird and sort of laughed when I was passing him by, made a funny comment and I had to laugh more. He said "Now there's the smile I've been looking for all night." Cuz yeah, as everyone 'knows' I don't smile much, which actually isn't true, I smile a lot, it's just apparently not noticeable to anyone but me.

My Neil Gaiman pre-order cd came today. I was kinda in shock because I didn't expect it to come for another week. But I guess that means that in two weeks it will be released to the rest of the world. I think I forgot to say that if you ordered it from iso-tank like a week ago they would have sent you it two weeks earlier than the offical release. And I further went into shock when I saw the bottom of it. It was BLACK. Dunno if that's normal but whatever. It's awesomeness. ANYWAY... I went around the goodwill and half-priced books up at the mall to look for some of his books. Knew the goodwill would be futile, but I had to try anyway. Instead layton found me a furby. It's red an black and oh so pretty. He knows I'm a sort of collector of them. Half-price books was only half as futile. They only had Neverwhere and by that time I couldn't get it because I bought dinner for layton and I, and I only had 5 dollars left. Never do that anymore and I really wanted to today. It made me feel nice to since I am never able to do anything for him. I'm so distractible, 5 dollars, it was 7 so a no-go. I'm just going to have my mom put the 5 in the bank so I can get it off ebay. Found someone this morning who was selling it for $4.50. It's gonna have sales tax though since it would be shipping from here in washington...

Out of all the stuff I've read by him (and I can admit I've not read too horribly much) I love neverwhere the most. It's sad why though, just because I can identify with it so much at times. Trying so desperately to get someone to notice you for anything longer than a fragment of a second. Trying to find how you fit into the nothing. Just trying to survive between the cracks.

I found Neverwhere at the Goodwill once, made the mistake of letting someone borrow it before I got a chance to read it. I also found a hardback copy of Good Omens once, that book is the shit. By Gaiman and Terry Prachett. I also have Wolves in the Walls, which will be my coffee table book, once I get a coffee table.

If I had any clue what was going on. I would have screamed at the biker guy too. What a fucking prick. I have no tolerance for people like that, but I was dumb and unobservant and completely self absorbed by that point.

Re: :)
The thing with the biker guy was weird. The reason he was accusing layton was because sandy stuck his empty cigarette carton on it (which was funny) and since the guy was brilliant and oh so observant he blamed the wrong person. It's probably a good thing that all he did was yell and then walk back in instead of starting shit like I think everyone expected.

I'd like to be able to find some good books when I go out to thrift stores but my luck just sucks in that department. No nice books for me. Oh well, just have to go to one of the used bookstores in downtown kent next time I'm down there. Have yet to read either of the ones you mentioned, but I'm going to work on finding the wolves in the walls. Feel so bad for not having read that one yet.
