The INDUCE ACT and the Cartel - or - Why does RADIO suck?

Layton and I went to the mall with james today. It was fun. He didn't want to go alone and I almost didn't answer my cell phone when he called. I was thinking at first that it was my mom calling because she was calling the house to bug me about getting to the car so I could go to see jane. I realized it wasn't though when my phone started ringing though and mom pulled hers out of her pocket and set it on the dash. Took me a few seconds but I did get it. Yay for my slow and stupidness. :)

So yeah, I went to the mall with james. Walked up to game stop and he checked on his application and I walked over into b&n to pick one up for myself. Now I just have to get around to filling it out. Blah. He also picked up a game for himself, and then we walked up to target to look for a bigger cd case for him. I'm gonna have to get a new one of those myself soon too. My 96 one is almost filled up. Probably would be but I've actually been going through them over the past couple months and tossing the ones I don't want. Anyway, target didn't have any, big shock there I kinda figured they wouldn't, so we walked up to best buy. They had some and he picked up a 120-something one and a cd. :) Layton went and messed with the quarter machines outside the doors. He got an alien for himself, me, and some blue glow in the dark putty stuff for me. James got himself an alien too. Mine is on a pogo stick. It's cool. On the walk back to the bus stop he went all 1337 5p34k. I don't know how much layton could understand. I got most of it, but not all. It was cute. :)

Anyway, after we got back to kent and james went home, layton and I went to the library. Had some stuff to pick up. One of the librarians that works there, the cool red-head one who I always used to see at school when they did visits, said something to the effect of "long time no see, it's good to see you here again." That made me smile. Right when layton and I were about to catch the bus home my mom called and offered to pick us up. Well actually she wanted to know when I would be home and then I asked if she wanted to come down. She had to do banking so it was ok by her for the most part. While waiting I got to watch a spider spin it's web. I think layton found it kinda funny how absorbed I was by it. I, being a total dorkus, just kept on ooo-ing and ahh-ing over it. It was just so spiffy.

Man, the only reason I was like "what?" over it was because half the time I couldn't hear you because of the god damn cars going by. They need to learn how to use public transportation, it'll make for less pollution.

And you're welcome, it was lots of fun.

spiders!
I love watching a spider spin it's web.. it's so amazing how it just instinctively knows how to do it, and it's always so intricate and perfect.. that's why I hate breaking spider webs, they put their heart and soul into those things.

Yeah and speaking of spiders, I watched two of them mate ride outside my front door yesterday... crazy.

Re: spiders!
You got to watch spiders mate? No way! I wanna see that. The most I've seen is ladybugs on layton's bag, which was actually pretty funny. It looked like the male was having a seizure or something.

Re: spiders!
haha! yeah watching animals mate is always interesting. It was funny too because the male was so much smaller than the female, and he's trying to mount her and she's all big and intimidating.. haha it was a good laugh.
